Technical Features

The best of outdoor technology, underfoot.

A Nat's shoe is born from the sum and the quality of what holds it together.

We partner with the benchmarks of the outdoor world - Vibram®, Dyneema® - and combine them with our own construction technologies. We choose every material to improve the experience of every step: components that support you, from the first mile to the last.

  • 4 mm lugs: up to 25% more traction across surfaces
  • 1.5 mm outsole base: protection without added weight
  • More ground contact along the sidewalls: greater lateral stability on uneven or sloped terrain

The upper

Dyneema®
The Strongest fiber in the world.

Remarkably light, it protects without weighing you down and extends the life of the shoe without dulling its feel. Originally developed for high-performance uses - from climbing gear to body armor - now it's the lightweight armor of your upper.

  • Up to 15 times stronger than steel by weight
  • Light enough to float on water
  • Protection from sand and debris, reinforced with TPU at the toe and sidewalls

Ground Control Chassis™
Designed to follow your natural movement.

Stability when you need it, energy returned at every phase of your stride. An ergonomic TPU plate and a dual-density midsole work together for a more efficient, more controlled step.

  • Ergonomic TPU plate: limits twisting on uneven terrain and returns energy (rebound effect)
  • Dual-density midsole: firmer outer wall for support and durability, softer central core for cushioning and responsiveness
  • 6 mm drop and 15° toe spring: agile movement, better ground feel and a natural roll at toe-off
  • 4 mm lugs: up to 25% more traction across surfaces
  • 1.5 mm outsole base: protection without added weight
  • More ground contact along the sidewalls: greater lateral stability on uneven or sloped terrain
